Yoga has played an important role in Elizabeth's personal journey to recovery. In 2021, Elizabeth discovered Prison Yoga Project and applied for their inaugural 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. She is called to share yoga with others, who are on a path to improved wellness, recovery from traumatic events or addiction, or simply looking for accessible yoga offered without judgement or competition. PYP's YTT graduates are eligible for accreditation through Yoga Alliance. Elizabeth holds General Liability insurance.
Elizabeth is certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental WellBeing. Yoga for Wellness VA's service areas are Rappahannock, Warren, Fauquier, Culpeper, Madison, and Page counties.
